  • The KHOR VIRAP "deep dungeon“(established in 642 CE): the most famous pilgrimage site in Armenia. Get to know the mysterious story behind it.

  • ARENI (tour, wine tasting). Visit the winemaking region where wines from the indigenous grape sort produced.

  • Trchuneri (Bird’s) cave: THE OLDEST WINERY in the world (6000 years old)

  • 13th-century NORAVANK MONASTERY; through a narrow canyon get to the valley of red rock where this masterpiece is located.

Day 2: Soul & Wine
  • Morning Meditation and Yoga

  • TATEV MONASTERY (9th century) - one of the most magnificent creations of medieval Armenian architecture

  • WINGS OF TATEV; The longest Ropeway in the world (5,752 meters)

  • Mysterious SWINGING BRIDGE that will connect you to a network of man-made caves; OLD KHNDZORESK CAVE VILLAGE

  • Evening theory class

Day 3: Take a Dip in the Sky
  • Morning Meditation and Yoga

  • TSITSERNAKABERD (The Armenian Genocide memorial complex) - a solemn reminder of the first genocide of the 20th century

  • Short meditation in Tsitsernakaberd

  • SAINT ECHMIADZIN (one of the oldest churches in the world) – the spiritual center of Armenia, (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

  • 7th-century ZVARTNOTS CATHEDRAL (UNESCO World Heritage Site) - a masterpiece of early medieval Armenian architecture.

  • Evening theory class

Day 4: Reflection of History 
  • Morning Meditation & Yoga

  • Hellenistic GARNI - the only pagan temple in Armenia (76 AD).  

  • The geological marvel of SYMPHONY OF STONES; wonderful natural rocks, formed of regular hexagonal cylinders.

  • UNESCO World Heritage GEGHARD MONASTERY (the 4th century) -a fantastic example of Armenian medieval architecture carved into nearby rocks.

  • Chanting in a chapel of Geghard

  • Armenian traditional famous Gata tasting.

  • Evening theory practice

Day 5: Hellenistic Art & Medieval architecture
  • Morning Meditation and Yoga

  • SEVAN – the largest lake in the Caucasus, the “blue pearl of Armenia” and one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world

  • SEVANAVANK monastic complex (founded in 874) from where a marvelous scene opens in the north-western part of Sevan Lake

  • Meditation on the top of Sevan peninsula.

  • DILIJAN – a resort green town. Dilijan has undeniably attractive scenery and an extremely pleasant climate and healing air.

Day 6: The Jewel of Armenia
  • Morning Meditation and Yoga

  • 13th-century MONASTERY HAGHARTSIN situated in the gorgeous forest that represents an indescribable example of a blend of nature with architecture.

  • Participation in liturgy

  • Hidden treasure LAKE PARZ in Dilijan National Park

  • OLD DILIJAN (Tufenkian center)

  • Visit a wooden museum made by a local guy who spent 20 years of his life for the arts

  • Cooking class and dinner with the local family

Day 7: Meet Locals
  • Morning Meditation and yoga practice

  • Matenadaran (a repository of ancient manuscripts) 

  • Armenian art and souvenirs in Vernisaj market

  • ”ARARAT” brandy factory” (tour and tasting a legendary cognac) – Ararat cognac was Churchill’s favorite one and it boasts gold medals in spirits competitions around the world.  

  • Evening walk in YEREVAN- 2800-year-old capital of Armenia that is one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities.

Day 8: Yerevan: a City of Sun
  • Morning Meditation and yoga practice

Day 9: Departure

Armenian cuisine is as ancient as the history of Armenia, it is one of the oldest in Europe and the oldest in the South Caucasus. The dishes here are diverse and delicious thanks to the use of lots of spices, herbs, and wild flowers.

Try an ancient Armenian bread: Lavash (UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity). Taste dolma, basturma, sujukh, spas, kyufta and much more. Taste Armenian BBQ made in tonir: a special stove where many traditional Armenian dishes are made.
